Rigo Nicolas

Nicolas est titulaire d’une Licence en sciences mathématiques, d’un DEA en sciences appliquées, d’un DES en sciences de gestion et d’une thèse de doctorat en sciences de l’Ingénieur à l’ULiège.

Sa carrière professionnelle débute en tant que chercher au Département d’Architecture Navale et d’Analyse des Systèmes de Transport à l’Université de Liège en 2003. Il rejoint ensuite l’ULB en qualité de Chercheur Qualifié au sein de l’unité de recherche Qalinca Labs -Logistics & Transport system en 2009. En 2022, il devient chef de programme responsable de la Stratégie régionale de mobilité des Marchandises au sein du SPW MI. Il rejoint ensuite l’IWEPS afin de contribuer entre autres à l’élaboration des programmes statistiques quinquennaux et annuels.

Nicolas est également Maître d’enseignement au Centre Interuniversitaire d’Étude de la Mobilité dans le cadre du Master de Spécialisation en Transport et Logistique. Il est collaborateur scientifique à l’ULB depuis 2024. Nicolas participe aussi ponctuellement à des jurys d’experts pour la Commission Européenne.
